Sunshine Studios
Sunshine Studios is located in Uptown Maumee and has provided employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to create art and explore the community since 2014. The individuals produce ceramics, rugs, and more that are sold in the store. Each group works alongside excellent staff who teach life and work skills. Proceeds from each piece of art created by the individuals we support goes back to Sunshine.
The studio also offers public classes weekly, studio time, and space for meetings, parties, and other gatherings. Along with classes, Sunshine Studios booths can be found at dozens of local craft and art fairs throughout the spring, summer, and holiday seasons.

Georgette’s Grounds and Gifts
Since 2005, Georgette's Grounds and Gifts has been a place for inclusion and community — just like Sunshine's founder, Georgette Engler, wished for those with developmental disabilities.
Each bag of coffee sold benefits the individuals we support through life-changing programs. At our cafe in Maumee, Ohio, we employ individuals who prepare and serve food and drinks alongside excellent staff who teach life and work skills. Just down the road, our retail coffee is packaged by another group of individuals we support.
Georgette’s offers fresh breakfast and lunch options, along with pastries daily. Additionally, Georgette’s can make your cake, pie, or treats and meet your platter-ing needs for your next small event.
