Woven into the fabric of Sunshine for nearly six decades, Luther’s
impact began with childhood visits and grew into a lifelong commitment
to service. From his early role on the Board of Directors to stepping into
staff leadership as Director of Planning and Development, he helped
guide critical moments of growth—including major capital campaigns,
the creation of the Sunshine Foundation, and expanded community based services. All rooted in faith, service, and unwavering commitment to the mission.
Grounded in his Mennonite faith, Luther has consistently emphasized
stewardship, servanthood and staying true to the mission. He has helped
shape not just what Sunshine does, but how it does it—ensuring every
decision reflects love, dignity, and respect. Today, he remains a trusted
voice through his board commitment preserving Sunshine’s history
while helping guide its future.
