For Tessie Mae Seamon, a life well-lived means lifting others up. She spent decades at the University of Toledo as an administrative liaison, using her social work background to support students who needed someone to believe in them. She made people feel seen. Thoughtful in her words and steady in her presence, Tessie touches lives in ways both large and small.
That compassion naturally drew her to Sunshine. Over the years, Tessie grew to admire how Sunshine celebrates individuality and supports people with developmental disabilities.
