Tammie joined Sunshine in 2014 as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), bringing not only dedication to those we support—but also a talent few knew about. After nearly three decades working in tech with Best Buy’s Geek Squad, she had a deep knowledge of IT that was just waiting for the right opportunity.
That opportunity came in 2024, when she transitioned into Sunshine’s IT Department. The move felt natural. Her years on the front lines gave her a unique understanding of both people and systems—and at Sunshine, we make space for both to grow.
Outside of work, Tammie shares her tech knowledge with teens, teaching them how to stay safe online and make smart digital choices.
She’s grateful to be part of a workplace that encourages growth and values every skill set.
Her advice?
