The present health situation affects Sunshine staff in many ways. One of the ways we need your help is by stocking our food pantry with items that would be helpful for families with children out of school.
As you know schools are cancelled for the next few weeks and possibly until the end of the school year. Due to the current situation, there is a greater need for additional resources for our Sunshine staff and their families. We are enlisting your help by requesting either actual food donations, or donations of money to purchase items.
A sample of the needed items:
- Peanut Butter and Jelly
- Chicken Noodle Soup
- Breakfast Bars
- Pasta Noodles
- Spaghetti Sauce
- Instant Mashed Potatoes
- Laundry Soap
- Fruit Snacks
- Non-perishable Kid-Friendly Foods
- Kid Friendly Frozen Foods Such As; Frozen Chicken Nuggets, Frozen Pizza, Frozen Meals, Etc.
We understand that you may be reluctant to leave your homes. If interested, we can arrange for pick up. Please contact the volunteer department at 419-794-1388. If you are able to drop off at Sunshine, pull into the parking lot, call the front desk at 419-865-0251 and will come out to your car and pick up.
