Oliver (12) - USE

Hi, I go by Oliver. My goat brother, Nubbins, and I came to Sunshine from a staff’s family member. Many people may not know that I am the smartest animal in the barn, often outwitting the humans. I love to bur myself in straw to keep warm in the winter. My favorite treat is watermelon.

Nubbins (1) - USE

My name is Nubbins and I first came to Sunshine with my best friend Oliver. We were donated by a Sunshine staff’s family. I love getting a back scratch and calling out to others when I hear my name or see people walking by. My favorite treats are the horse ones — the berry nuggets.

Hall
Toggenburg Goat, Born in 2009

Hall - USE

Hi, my name is Hall. My brother Oats and I were named after the band Hall and Oats, but only people from the 1980s seem to catch onto that. I am a Toggenburg goat, which is a Swiss Dairy breed. My brother and I came to Sunshine from the Lucas County Fair a long time ago. My favorite treat is carrots.

Oats - USE

Hi, my name is Oats. I came from the Lucas County Fair with my brother Hall. My brother and I are difficult to tell apart, but I am taller, with curlier and lighter-colored hair, and I am more outgoing. I am an older guy with arthritis in my knees. I take medicine daily to ease the pain, and my humans put out straw for me to lay on. My favorite treat is raw noodles.
