My Favorite Catalogs

I hate going out shopping for the things I need. The crowds on weekends which is the only time I have being a full-time working woman, the traffic getting to and from the stores and malls, the lack of choices since one store can only carry so much inventory. So, I tend to do most of my shopping via mail-order. In the old days, I'd order from Catalogs. Now, while the catalogs still come to my home, I use their online Catalog Ordering sites to make shopping, ordering and tracking my purchases soooo easy.

Ultimately, the best place to find Catalogs for anything you may need from Accessories to Zithers, and everything in between, there’s no place like Catalog.com. While there are literally hundreds of catalogs listed on that site, I've decided to list some of My Favorite Catalog Sites and my opinions of them.

Clothing

Most of these sites carry primarily for larger sized women 14-34W but a few carry smaller sizes.

Coldwater Creek
Misses, Petites, Women's sizes. Moderately priced with Separates from $39+, Dresses & Jackets from $89+, casual conservative with a touch of
style you don’t find elsewhere.

Silhouettes
The Silhouettes® catalog celebrates women sizes 12W - 34W offering all the latest in career, casual and special occasion clothing in contemporary
fashion. Moderately priced.

Roaman’s
Offering Women’s sizes 12-44W including Petite for those of us with short legs. My favorite place to shop for dressy or casual clothing, moderately
priced from $19.99 and up. Watch out for their sales and know that the best stuff sells out quickly so don’t hesitate to pick up something if you like
it. Their return policy is fast, easy and relatively pain free.

Just My Size
Women’s Apparel from 14W - 40W, Lingerie and Bras from 38A to 58J. Shoes, Workout wear, socks, even some men’s and kid’s wear. Very
reasonably priced, casual clothing for the larger woman.

Catherines
Exclusively in Plus, Petite Plus and Extended Plus Sizes. Moderately prices, career, casual and occasion clothing mostly conservative with some
stylish items you’ll have to look for. Tops range from $14.99 to $60. Unless on sale, of course. I don’t shop here often as it’s not my style but the
clothes appear to be of a good quality.

Chadwick’s of Boston
The same beautiful clothes you find at Express and other stores in the Mall, you can order from Chadwick’s at great savings. Fashion, Shoes and
Accessories at terrific prices. The now carry Women’s sizes as well for those of us with a slightly larger view of life.

Lerner
Stylish clothes, some trendy items. Reasonably priced in sizes up to 20.

Home & Kitchen

Some great sites for decorating, gifts and that something you’ve just got to have.

Brylane Home
Great prices, interesting items without being too chatchke oriented.

The Company Store
One of the best places for bedding, rugs, window treatments and other home décor items. Reasonably priced, contemporary designs.

A Catalog of Personal Growth and Exploration. That’s what they call themselves. I call them a neat place to find those different items that not
